Thomas M. Nies

Chairman, CEO

Since its founding in 1968, Tom Nies has built Cincom into one of the largest international, independent software companies in the world. As the longest actively serving CEO in the computer industry, Nies still helms the firm he founded 50 years ago, while turning the day-to-day reigns over to a new generation. Nies says, “Since its beginning, we have always viewed our staff, customers and partners as family. I am confident that Cincom will carry this ethos of service and community into the next 50 years, while continuing to pioneer innovative new strategic software solutions for business enterprises worldwide.”

Fun Fact:

Tom is an avid reader and has acquired a vast library that would be the envy of any book lover.

Don Vick

Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer

Don is responsible for overseeing Cincom’s worldwide finance operations. These include treasury management, accounting, tax, budgeting and financial forecasting. He says, “One of the favorite things about my job is that, in working with our various teams, I get to see a little bit of everything that’s going on—what the product team is developing, what sort of resources the engineering team is investing in and what technologies our marketing and sales groups are utilizing to engage the market. It gives me a lot of confidence about our future when I see how the talent across our organization goes about their business.”

Fun Fact:

Don enjoys the outdoors with his wife on their recreational farm in Indiana and their timberland in Maine. Don has a passion for fly fishing for trout and a desire to improve his woodworking skills.

Brian Bish

Managing Director, Cincom Smalltalk & Corporate Operations

Brian is in charge of sales, marketing, product management and engineering operations for Cincom Smalltalk, as well as Corporate Operations (IT, HR, facilities and contract management). He has been with the company for nearly 40 years, and says, “I look forward to helping shape Cincom’s future by continuing our rich legacy of serving customers and partners.”

Fun Fact:

In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing golf and going on beach vacations.

Rebecca Hearst

Global Director, Sales Operations, Education & Internal Communications

While addressing global sales operations, education and internal corporate communications, Rebecca works with talented Cincomers worldwide. She collaborates with Cincom’s many specialized teams to meet strategic and tactical goals to optimize processes and skills and elevate knowledge to meet revenue goals. Rebecca notes that Cincom, a benevolent, opportunity-rich organization, enables people to learn, grow and apply their knowledge and skills to challenging roles that continue to contribute to Cincom’s long-tenured stability and growth.

Fun Fact:

Although Rebecca loves her role at Cincom, plays the violin and cello, enjoys British and American literature and adores great conversation with family and friends around her table, her dream has always been to drive a Formula 1 car in a Grand Prix. Rebecca says, “A Lotus or Ferrari will do nicely!”

Emily Urling

Managing Director, Global Marketing and Product Management

Emily steers Cincom’s global product and marketing teams, including product strategy, product marketing, demand generation, and brand management. Emily is a passionate, results-driven leader with a strong work ethic. She advocates for understanding customer needs and creating solutions that address those needs. She stresses the importance of measuring marketing campaign effectiveness using data to inform future decisions. She is a skilled communicator and influencer who cultivates strong relationships with key stakeholders. According to Emily, “Customer-centric marketing, fueled by data-driven insights, is the key to business growth and market leadership.”

Fun Fact:

In her free time, Emily loves to travel with her family, exploring new cultures and trying new foods.

Mark Hibbard

Managing Director Services and Support - Global

Now in charge of global support and services, Mark originally joined the company in 1983 as a trainee programmer. He says, “My vision is that every customer’s experience with Cincom fulfill and surpass their expectations. Every team member has a key role to fulfill in pursuit of this vision; therefore, I want to ensure that they are provided the same career growth opportunities the company provided to me.”

Fun Fact:

Whenever Mark travels, he tries to find an aircraft museum irrespective of the country.

Snigdho Das

Managing Director, Engineering - Global

With extensive experience in leading and managing technology, people and products, Snigdho is an accomplished software professional who has helped several businesses deliver the business value of IT through varied functionalities. He is also responsible for technological innovations for building high-performing, scalable, easily manageable and cost-effective solutions.

An extremely dedicated, focused, results-oriented individual, Snigdho has the proven abilities and organizational skills to deliver and improve business functionalities.

Fun Fact:

Having traveled across all states in India and most in the U.S., Snigdho thinks he’s seen more varieties of cuisine than a MasterChef contestant and experienced more culture than you’d encounter at a United Nations summit!

Greg Hall

Director, Product Management

Greg has over 25 years of professional as well as executive experience in the software industry covering a broad range of sectors including financial, logistics, insurance, automotive, digital media, e-commerce and commercial software. Responsible for product design, product management and streamlining product development processes, Greg is also an evangelist for modern software product-/market-fit techniques that combine lean processes with a continuous product-discovery and product-delivery philosophy. A strong believer in small, empowered, cross-functional teams that focus on validating and delivering value through product, Greg has been with Cincom for over 10 years serving in multiple roles that include solution architect and technical product manager. Greg is currently leading the Product Team, which includes Product Management and the User Experience Design Teams.

When Greg is not looking for new market opportunities, in his free time, you might find him working on a new recipe in the kitchen, out at a FC Cincinnati Match or on his mountain bike hitting local dirt trails.
