• A short walk-through introduces the VisualWorks® programming environment and enables the new programmer to quickly build a GUI-based application.
• A set of three online tutorials helps users who know nothing about Smalltalk but a little something about programming. The tutorials show the step-by-step process of building both a GUI (rich client) and a web application in VisualWorks.
• A Basic Libraries Guide introduces new users to the Smalltalk class library.
• The Application Developer's Guide describes the VisualWorks environment, tools, base libraries and their usage.
